The Itinerary
Day 1
Welcome to South Africa! Arrive at the hotel, get some rest before our Welcome Dinner at the Gold Restaurant where we will get to experience authentic African foods and dancing!
Day 2
Today we are taking a cable car up to Table Mountain, one of the most iconic lookout points of Cape Town. Next we embark on a hike up to Signal Hill and finally, a visit to the colorful neighborhood, Bo-Kaap. We will take so many pictures here because look at those fun colors!
Day 3
Today is the day of the Peninsula Tour! We will travel along the beautiful coast and visit the Cape of Good Hope, one of the most popular destinations in South Africa. From there we will take a trip to Boulders Beach where we will be with alllll the penguins!! And finally to end the day, a trip to Seal Island, where we will get to hang up close and personal with the seals!
Day 4
Today we embark on a delirious adventure, tandem paragliding over all of Cape Town!! Ah!! Afterwards we will be visiting Robben Island and spending some time at the V&A Waterfront! There is so much to do at the Waterfront so we will have some leisure time here to explore and in the evening, we will take a sunset cruise and see some marine wildlife!
Day 5
Today is a free day to do whatever you want, likely rest. Trust me, you’ll want it. Cape Town is also famous for its wineries so you may enjoy a day of wine tasting. You can go to the beach, shop, hike, hang by the pool, really whatever you want! We will be in city center so the options are endless!
Day 6
​Today we are taking a fun facts filled township tour as well as visiting the Green Market Square where we can browse and buy the most exquisite handmade African souvenirs! They make the coolest things so leave room in your bags to take home all the amazing goods you buy! From there, we will head to traditional “high tea” at the most adorable pink hotel, Mount Nelson.
Day 7
This day is an exciting one! A trip to Muizenberg Beach, ziplining, and Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens! Ah! Doesn’t get much better than that! But wait until you see tomorrow….
Day 8
The grand finale, the big kahuna…..SAFARI TIME!! You got that right, we are seeing the BIG FIVE. Elephants, lions, rhinos, buffalos and the elusive leopard. Today we head to Aquila Overnight Safari where we will enjoy a game drive during sunset, stargaze on the safari, and enjoy another game drive during sunrise the next morning. We also get a buffet breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This is the stuff dreams are made of!!!
Day 9
Sunrise game drive on the safari and then head back to Cape Town to catch our flights home :( It’s not goodbye, it’s see you later!
